Our Story At PawThNeo, our journey didn’t begin in a laboratory; it began with Goldie.

Five years ago, Goldie, a resilient rescued Labrador, was diagnosed with osteoarthritis. Like many pet parents, we navigated endless veterinary visits and tried everything available, including a multitude of supplements and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) during acute flare-ups. Yet, despite our best efforts, we watched as the condition steadily affected all of her limbs. The existing treatments didn't offer a cure; they merely offered symptom management, often accompanied by the heavy burden of side effects.

We quickly realized that this heartbreaking reality extends beyond our canine companions. For humans with osteoarthritis, the medical landscape is much the same: a reliance on medications that manage pain but fail to halt the disease, often complicating life for individuals with comorbidities.

PawThNeo was founded by Dr Anirudha Lakshminarasimhan to close that gap. Our focus is on therapies that address the root cause of degenerative joint conditions, not just the symptoms, without the side-effect burden that comes with long-term use of traditional medications.

We remain forever indebted to Goldie. She's still the quiet reason behind this work,  a daily reminder of why we're doing it, and of the world we're trying to build: one where growing older doesn't have to mean slowing down.
